ABOUT KELLY:
Kelly Reed joined Huther Doyle as President & CEO in August of 2016. Since that time, she has been actively committed to creating an agency that is both a premier provider of Substance Use Disorder treatment and Health Home Care Management, as well as an amazing place to work.
Kelly’s leadership philosophy is based on two concepts:
Servant Leadership- Leadership works to serve our employees, who in turn, serve our clients.
Ubuntu- “I am because you are”, this philosophy promotes the overall well-being of humanity. By helping our clients and the community, we help ourselves and succeed TOGETHER.
Kelly’s dedication to our community spans over three decades including 19 years as President & CEO at the Society and Protection and Care of Children (SPCC) and 10 years as the Commissioner of the Department of Human Services for Monroe County.
Kelly has been the recipient of many awards, including Woman of Influence from Girl Scouts of the Genesee Valley; Woman of the Year from the Rochester Area Women’s Political Caucus; Outstanding Young Woman of America; Hero Award from the Susan G. Komen Foundation; Distinguished Citizen from the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office; and Star Commissioner Award in 2016.
In 2018, she received the Breakthrough Magazine – Empowerment/Mentorship Award and was one of The Rochester Business Journal’s 2018 Icon Honorees.
