My name is Nicole B., the Health Home Plus lead Care Manager at Huther Doyle. I have been working with and for “my community” for over 18 years starting out in Criminal Justice and medical billing. Although I have worn many hats during my career, I believe the most challenging and fulfilling one to date, is my role as a Care Manager. I have worked with some of the most vulnerable populations in our area –to ensure their basic needs are met and connect them to vital services such as primary care , mental health, counseling, and addiction and other support services. Making people feel seen – like they are not just a statistic, relishing when they succeed, and offering empathy when they don’t. That’s my job—that’s what I do and who I am.
I am so grateful to have landed at Huther Doyle over three years ago. The agency offers a relaxed and accepting atmosphere where I not only help others, but receive support and guidance from my peers.
