Life experiences make us who we are.  That is what I often tell my clients.  I believe strongly that everything in our lives happen for a reason.  But we just must be awake to see it!

For a long time, I was not.  Most of my 20s were a blur.  I took time to reflect and that is when I found my way.  My calling.  Recovery.  I have always enjoyed helping others.  Values instilled by my amazing parents and best friends.  My family is amazing and has always supported me.  Helping people that struggle with addiction has been extremely rewarding for me.  I began in residential, which was a great experience, but working here at Huther Doyle has been such a great fit for me.  Since I began here in July 2023, I have felt so welcome and like I belong here.  I was accepted for who I was.  I feel so fortunate and grateful to be in a position where I can help others find their way in this world and see that a life in recovery is so much more fulfilling than any alternative.  I have found that helping others in recovery helps me in my own.  This is the beauty of the recovery community.

This year I will celebrate 10 years of sobriety.  I am the happiest I have ever been.  I look at my life as if it were two lives.  One before I ‘woke up’ and one after.  I hope to continue this path, and I look forward to the future.
