Huther Doyle
About Our Services
At Huther Doyle we provide individuals and families with culturally appropriate, high-quality addiction recovery and physical health services to help them make positive changes in their lives. Our addiction treatment methods are research-based and client-centered to optimize the recovery process for each person. Additionally, we assist our clients with resolving personal issues that might interfere with their addiction recovery and offer an array of services to make focusing on addiction treatment and recovery easier.
Esperanza Latina
The Huther Doyle agency offers a specialized program for Latina and Latino clients who are not fluent in the English language. Our culturally appropriate program is conducted in Spanish, and has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the Hispanic community. The Huther Doyle approach focuses on cultural issues that might impede, and cultural nuances that can enhance, addiction recovery.
Our New Services.

Chronic Addiction Management
Utilizing research-based approaches, including Motivational Interviewing and Behavioral Change Therapy, individuals are helped to develop a recovery based plan for achieving individual goals and objectives and to break the cycle of relapse-recovery.

Through a research-based practice that includes prescription of FDA-approved medications, we help to medically stabilize individuals experiencing withdrawal from illicit and/or prescription drugs. Patients are closely monitored and, when indicated, referred for more intensely supervised and supported medical detoxification.

Medication Assisted Treatment
Huther Doyle has implemented the use of approved medications such as Suboxone, Campral, Xaltrexone and Naltrexone to assist patients in dealing with cravings and enhance engagement in recovery. Chantix and nicotine patches are used for tobacco cessation. Vivitrol is used for the treatment of alcohol dependence.
Primary Health Care
To ensure integration of physical and behavioral health treatment, the agency has opened a comprehensive outpatient medical clinic. Medical staff provides a full range of healthcare services based upon an understanding of addiction and the role it plays in health management. The clinic is open to patients at Huther Doyle and all of its RecoveryNet partner agencies.
Assessments and Referrals
At Huther Doyle we work with each person to assess and determine the best treatment approach for their addiction recovery needs. This comprehensive, confidential, and personal evaluation is available to anyone by appointment, and will usually be completed in one visit. Following this initial assessment, a referral to the appropriate level of care will be made inside or outside the agency, determined by what is best for the individual needing treatment. With more than 40 formal referral and service agreements throughout the community, we can facilitate entry into inpatient or outpatient treatment in addition to the services we offer at the Huther Doyle agency.

Outpatient Treatment and Relapse Prevention
The agency has developed several specific treatment programs adapted to address the unique issues and needs of a diverse clientele. Specific programs include those designed for the Hispanic community, adolescents starting at the age of 12, families, women, those who are HIV positive, have mental illness, or are addicted to powerful substances such as Cocaine. In addition to addiction recovery we offer an intensive relapse prevention program focused on avoiding relapse triggers, development of a prevention plan, and identification of sober supporters.
Huther Doyle pioneered the use of interventions in addiction recovery. Family members and/or significant others are provided with addiction recovery education and are helped to prepare for a formal confrontation/intervention with a person suffering from addiction. Following the actual intervention, the assessment described above is conducted and appropriate referrals for treatment are completed. Families and/or significant others are provided services specially designed for ongoing involvement should they choose to continue participating in the individual's addiction recovery process.
